It’s officially the last quarter of the year and I’m hustling and bustling to make sure I close out the year right in regards to not only my business life but my personal one as well.

I have chosen perhaps an interesting time to quit smoking with all that I have in front of me for the next 3 months. However, I feel that when I get through this trying period with “NO” cigarettes it will have made me a stronger Man not only physically, but mentally, and emotionally as well.

In making changes for the better in life it is important to remember that you can not fix one aspect of your life while there are others all out of whack. I am speaking from being slapped with that reality more than once in the past. I am well recognizant as well of how you can’t tackle all of them at once and must go through it one at a time, or you will never fully be able to achieve that level of success and idealism you wish in your life.

The key to this I have found is to make a bucket list of sorts as I wrote abouthere and literally number them 1-10 etc. Once you do that then you can attack those issues, problems, or unbalances, one at a time while always keeping your eyes, mind, and heart ready for that next number, that next step.

Sometimes its the small things that we feel are so insignificant that can make a big difference in how quickly we change for the better in regards to what we desire.

The most rigid structures, the most impervious to change, will collapse first.

Take note of those small things. Don’t ever disregard them or they can grow up and get bigger on your ass.

  1. Congrats on great things to come. A bucket list I have heard is a great thing. I should really start one! Good luck with your bad habit! I know you can do it!!!

    • It’s a struggle but I’m taking it day by day. I have faith in myself though. I have my kids and family and friends pulling through for me so the support has been huge. A bucket list is amazing. Brian Tracy talks about it in great length. If you get a moment you should look him up. He’s a master at being a success and development coach. Thank you so much for commenting and visiting my home. Look forward to seeing you here more often. :)

      Warm Regards,

  4. I know the feeling Pam-pam. It seems that bucket is the never-ending bucket huh? lol. Glad you enjoyed my piece. :)

  5. It is as good as they say, “Sometimes big things come in small packages.” So I agree with you Al. Just like the little mistakes we’ve done before, we charge it to our experiences and after some time of realization we learn from it and definitely we grow, we grow and grow in a good way.

    • well Said. Mistakes are definite learning experiences but only if you are ready to learn from them. Sometimes we keep making the same mistakes hence not learning anything at all.

  6. It is not that easy to just change our habits.. Congratulation of quitting from smoking and starting new healthier life. Many friends of mine don’t succeed to stop consuming cigarette, albeit, they have made hard try..

  7. I must agree. Small things are made us to become more successful in life. Like a piece of puzzle, you can never form it if you lost the other piece. It is the same in making changes, we can never forget small things whether it was good or bad.

  8. That’s Right Al I agree with that because is not really easy to do you must keep it up first and work hard before you got that..

  9. Everything is very open with a really clear explanation of the issues.
It was really informative. Your site is extremely helpful.
